.... Lagos-based lawyer, Festus Keyamo, on Friday slammed those accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of being lopsided in his appointments of Nigerians into various positions in the government. There had been an uproar since Thursday when a new set of appointees were made with Senator Ita Enang emerging as the only appointee from the southern part of the country. .... The Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has said that he has no respect for Obasanjo, who he described as an indescribable liar. Soyinka carpeted the former president on Friday night when he was responding to questions during a programme tagged: ‘An evening with Wole Soyinka’, organised by Globacom. Asked to respond to Obasanjo’s assessment of him in the former president’s book titled ‘My Watch’, where he notes that Soyinka is good at hunting and wines but a political illiterate, Soyinka said that he was hardly bothered because he believed that Obasanjo was a liar. Obasanjo was once described by an economist, the late Prof Ojetunji Aboyade, as an economic illiterate. They nearly ‘went into blow’ that night. It was Prof. Mabogunje who separated them. “So, if an economic illiterate calls somebody a political illiterate,

No doubt, the GEJ led administration may have come nd gone buh it's setbacks, pitfalls nd social cum economic stagnancy will forever remain a course for historian and student of the society to lesson from. The bane of success has been attributed largely to the ignorance of our critical thought nd reasoning towards realities as it affects our decision making in policy implementation. Hmm! 'little wonders'. The new led administration headed by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari nd prof. Yemi Osibanjo(the perfect sets) must have gone through the facts nd file to learn from the very avoidable mistakes which their predecessor plunges into gallantly without a proper perusal as that is why they are indeed taking their time to read between this very fatal lines differentiating policies nd politics as this remains the only road map to keeping their age long identity of integrity.
