Is Don Jazzy rude

Yesterday witness the collections of the cream de la creed of the society all in one events as the chairman of silverbird group, owner of rhythm fm, silverbird cinemas, silverbird mall and silverbird entertainment Sen. Ben Murray Bruce turns 60.

Written: Dickson Eyinmosan

It was an event of mix breed as both the old and young strikes a balance of rare resemblance, the mixture got more scintillating with the combination of political elites and that of top-notch stars cum celebrity in the entertainment industry.

Mr Ben Bruce alias the commonsense senator have indeed carve out a niche for himself as he no doubt displayed his importance in yesterday's event with both international personalities in attendance.

With the much talk book launch, the senator got personalities like the sensational Donald Duke(a former governor of cross river state) standing in for former president Olusegun Obasanjo in absentia for both a short review and onward unveiling of the book title "Commonsense Revolution".

Also, Mr Joseph Morzsenky a front-line international advertising world class sensation was also present to do a full review of the book as he peruses through Ben's masterpiece connecting the fine dots to reality.

Well, Odein Ajumogobia a former minister did a wonderful MC job before he eventually left the stage for more master act MC(s) of both IK and Bovi who declared the entertainment side of the events opened with series of nerve cracking jabs at guest.

Well, the show eventually started with Timi Dakolo taking on stage as first act,  though, few others have taken the floor before hand, even though it was way back sensational thriller artist.

The Catch: All artist who came after Timi did their enthralling performance with the birthday maestro either doing their bidding or dancing to the tune of their sonorous orchestra. From 2face to the choc boys down to the Mavin crew together with some others did their thing.

The Drama : well, without much ado, it was time for the one and only D'banj alias bangalee to take to the floor. Bangalee in his usual style of stage chemistry decided to walk down to the crowd strolling straight to where the celebrant was ducked with various dignitaries on the high table.

Real moments: At such disposition from bangalee, the celebrants followed suit as they both strolled back on stage with bangalee orchestrating his magic moments. After few step dance on stage the celebrant, Mr Bruce suddenly stunned an amazed Oladimeji Dapo with a shocking announcement and request.

Peak moments: where is Don jazzy,Mr Bruce fired! Please where is Don jazzy, he should come on stage now, he resorted. An amazed D'banj played along, walk straight to find the Don but unfortunately the Don has en lope. Hmm! Interesting. According to D'banj on stage "I know where he siddon, but e bi lyk say, he don run, or maybe dem don hide am" he said on a lighter note. Well, the music continued until the celebrant dropped the second unoticed.
"Please, I want  to make one request from you" an excited D'banj who couldn't read mind got the shocker from the celebrant on stage as he was placed on the spot " kindly promise  me you will do a song with Don jazzy".  Before D'banj could reply with shock vs smiles on his face, the senator fired again" you know I have never requested a favor from you before but please grant me this wish as my birthday gift".

The Emotions: Hmm! On stage bangalee couldn't just imagine but he had it answered  handy " I have given serious considerations to this" he said. To be honest before I came on stage, I went to don jazzy and told him I will be bringing the senator on stage" he continued. I didn't tell him to say all this he had just said, but it was as if i knew. A dramatic D'banj looked at Mr. Ben and said " if Don jazzy send me a beat today, we will do the song tomorrow" he concluded.

This reply came after a cunning D'banj tried to circumvent self from answering the on the spot question comparing Mr ben with quincy Jones and  other great international profiles.

Well! As usual, bangalee became the last act to perform as he closed the show both with glamour and a little flipping of script.

However, late reports and series of tweet from the mavin boss indicates he left the scene before D'banj came on board. But then, that seems contradictory with bangalee's statement that he saw jazzy before coming on stage. Hmm! Naija no dey carry last.

Some other tweets from the mavin boss indicates that he had taking a break from music as that was the sole reason he never came on stage with fellow crew mate Dr Sid to perform their hit single "surulere", and that of Timaya's "concurr"Hmm! 419 excuse.

Some other tweets from the boss claim he his not an artist. Oshey, na me con b artist abi? See African Magic. I no bi artist indeed!

Well! The question remains a standpoint; Is Don jazzy rude?
