Nigerian president agrees to the swap deal

Following her quest to putting a lasting end to the issue of insurgency in her nation, and his unflinching commitment to seeing that the missing schoolgirls are rescued in record time, Nigerian president has agreed to do the much talked swap deal between prisoners of the deadly Islamic  sect group in return for the 218 chibok schoolgirls. The president who made this resolve while in Nairobi, Kenyan, for the African economic summit explained that  his government will do all it can to ensuring that  the girls reunite with their families in record time.

 The president also thanked the Nigerian military for their bravery and gallant service to the nation, in seeing that peace returns back to the northeast region of the country. The military whose recent onslaught has successfully clamp down the operational base of this dreaded sect group, have no doubt doubled their effort in rescuing so many captives once held by this sect group. According to president Muhammadu Buhari, he salutes the dogged efforts of their general brilliance. "Our gallant troops have already rescued thousands of people, we will never give up on the chibok girls"

The president who said his government will do the swap when the sect group list out the names of those prisoners they want released, also sounded a clause which stipulates that the girls are brought back safe and in perfect health. " I reiterated it in Nairobi, we want our chibok girls safe, we want them out, we are doing all we can to reunite them with their families".

Recently, the Boko Haram sect group headed by it leader Abubakar Shakeau, released a video of the missing schoolgirls, where he gave strict conditions for the release of the girls. The video which drew global resonance about  the missing chibok schoolgirls who were kidnapped from their respective dormitories two years ago, gave the government a ray of hope and pressure In seeking a quick resolution to effecting their rescue.
