Abe's visit comes 75 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor and his attendance at the USS Arizona Memorial marks the first such visit in decades by a Japanese prime minster. During the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, 2,403 Americans were killed on Dec. 7, 1941.

The Americans who retaliated the Japanese Pearl Harbor devastation gave the Japan nation something to remember all their lives at the tale end of the world war 11 with the Hiroshima and Nagasaki air throw atomic bomb strike which killed over 200,000 Japanese nationals.

The first Japanese leader to visit Pearl Harbor was Shigeru Yoshida who in 1951 stopped over in Hawaii both on the way to and from the signing of the peace treaty with the US in San Francisco.

Both countries agreed to work together in achieving the deserving bilateral ties which will become worthy of benefits to the two nations whose ties is about to become a made from heaven settlement after their not too rosy war past.
