Clinton to attend Trump inauguration

In line with the traditions of the political system in the United States as it involves presidential inauguration, it has been confirmed that former president Bill Clinton alongside wife and immediate past presidential candidate of the democratic party, will be attending the ceremonial inauguration of Donald Trump.  The Clinton's announced their decision to attend the Jan. 20 inauguration shortly after former President George W. Bush's office said Tuesday he would attend along with former first lady Laura Bush.

Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, earlier said they plan to attend Trump's inaugural.
Former President George H.W. Bush, 92, and his wife, Barbara, do not plan to attend the inauguration due to the former president's age and health, his office said
 This will be Hillary Clinton's third major public appearance since the November.8 general elections that brought in Donald Trump as president-elect of the United States. Clinton who ran hard against Trump in the presidential election had been primed to be the next president of the United States but that couldn't happen as Americans woke up in shock with a Donald Trump presidency despite his campaign rhetoric.

Trump who edged out Mrs. Clinton in majority of battlegrounds states, won the electoral college vote which gave him  the pass mark of the marked 270 electoral college winner theory. Though Hillary Clinton clinched the popular votes with more that 2million Americans wanting her presidency according to the vote counts, but wasn't just enough in acquiring the green card to the white house as commander-in-chief.

Mrs. Clinton who would have been the first female president of the United States if she had won the electoral college votes against major opposition rival Donald Trump, failed to shatter the "glass ceiling" as earlier thought by many Americans who watched the election in close view.

Trump will become the 45th president of the United States come Jan.20, 2017.

Trump condoles with Manchester

 President of the United States has expressed a heartfelt condolence to the British government on account of the recent Manchester bombing. Donald Trump who spoke about the attack in Manchester before his remarks alongside the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas after their meeting at the presidential Palace in the west bank city of Bethlehem expresses their total shock in the wake of events. According to the U.S president, this attack is carried out not just by terrorists as the world now call them, but by what he called "Evil Doers". Spanish tennis legend and all time French Open Slam winner Rafeal Nadal have successfully engrave his name in gold as he beats Swiss tennis star Stan Wawrinka in a three-set run that ended in favour of the Spaniard.  Nadal 31, came through 6-3 6-2 6-1 to conquer third seed Stan Wawrinka in a clay-court contest that saw the Spaniard displaying the reason why he is regarded "King of Clay".  He becomes the only tennis player in an Open era to have won a grand slam tournament 10 times in count.  He extends his win at Rolland Garros to 79  and two losses since his first victory in 2005.
