Chibok girls release carefully negotiated

Barely 24hour after the shock release of the kidnapped chibok schoolgirls,  reports emerging from the Nigerian government indicates a thorough grill negotiation leading to the eventual release of the captured schoolgirls. According to a statement released by the senior special assistant on media and publicity, security agency secured the release of the abducted schoolgirls after a handful of careful negotiation in exchange to some imprisoned Boko Haram fellows.

According to Mr Garba Shehu, the girls will arrive Abuja today for an onward meeting with the president.

The released 82 girls come from the over 200 kidnapped schoolgirls on April 14, 2014, from their school dormitory at the government girls secondary school in a small town called Chibok.
On October last year, the federal government secured over 21 of the girls thereby reducing the number of girls in captivity to 197. Barely some three months to the released of the 21 schoolgirls, on Jan 5th, 2017, one of the captured girls named Rikiya Abubakar was rescued by men of the Nigerian security forces, leaving the number reduced to 196.

On may 17th, 2016, Amina Ali was the first of the kidnapped schoolgirls to officially escaped her way through forest sambisa away from the treachery of the boko haram sect group, before she was eventually seen wandering by the Nigerian civilian JTF group.
