No doubt, the fine lyrical contents by T.Y bello 'The land is Green' seems to be losing its facets in all ramifications as the obvious spells it all. Truth be told, the land has not only lost its fertility but also it's nourishment nd nutrients as the case maybe. In recent happenings, the people seems to be at the extreme of its infertility as the facts are not only glaringly axiomatic but apparently concise when we consider the severe anhilation nd environmental mishap that has befallen our people in midst of 'Many'. Painfully nd sardonically, we cannot feign a sense of mental oblivion to the senseless attacks of innocent Nigerians by some irredendist,faceless, clueless and irate fundamentalist group whose mission are not only purposeless but also directionless to the Nigerian states. They claim to be against western civilisation and all its dealings, but then, their activities are absolutely in total misconception and contradictory to their said mission and tenets. They rejects western attributes but yet,all their senseless attacks in a bid to drive home their needless claims have been characterised by western sophistication nd acumen. They forbids global socialization and mingling, but yet, they remain affiliated to various fundamental sect that spreads their drag nets all over the world claiming to be teaching morals nd following bigoted religion doctrines. Doctrines indeed! However, it is not out of place if this rhetoric remains a burden thus' Isn't this doctrines contradictory nd misleading? Well, hands on deck must remain not only a gloomy message to all but also a clarion call to patriots who still wants this Nation to stand as the activities of this terrorists are doing unquantifiable damage to the country. In the month of July alone, no fewer than 241 innocent civilians going about their ordinary businesses in mosques, churches, and restaurants have been killed by Boko Haram-sponsored gunmen and suicide bombers, including women. And these frightening incidents took place in as wide an area as the Borno State towns of Monguno and Kukawa through Kano and Kaduna, Zaria townships to Jos in Plateau State. This new havoc-wreaking tactic, whereby Boko Haram deploys young female suicide bombers as human bombs, is the most debasing, disdainful and dehumanizing onslaught on the girl-child and a brazen attack on women across the world. It once again demonstrated the primordial viciousness of the sect to stand civilization on its head, in a shameless and cowardly manner by turning girls into agents of death.   The point must be made though, that Buhari has been in power for less than two months and it is unrealistic to expect a national wound that has festered for years to be healed overnight
