Clinton, Trump debate in review

The Hopstra University Monday night witnessed what many believed was the most watched presidential debate of all time as over 100million viewers turned their searchlight to two individuals whose decision, policy direction and submission may either make or mar not just the United States but also some other nations of the world whose underpinnings lies within the cesspit of the international community. Though not too many had followed a door to door pursuit of this two personalities, but Monday debate night at least shows something about the two presidential hopefuls who currently vies to becoming the 45th president of the United States.

No doubt, Monday night was just any other night where the moon peeps through the window and eventually smiles at certain sleeping beauties, but that was not actually the case at the Hopstra University in New York as while some where enjoying the brisk cool night breeze that blows through the Atlantic, the duo of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was locked square-meters away as they battled trade, immigration, income taxes, judgement  and temperament. This became the anchor to which Monday night was focused as the cool sea breeze billows through the hopstra occulus down to the debate stage where condensed air lies. Though, a nerve cracking atmosphere but the scene got a little bit stable for secretary Clinton whose arrays of experience and legal international espionage came to a forebear when the stakes got a lot much higher as the intensity fumed a lot more dapper than expected.

As this epic battle gained momentum, it got the attention of the teeming crowd whose body language could tell when each candidates got it wrong but just went on since they own of the night show. Though, there were few moments of cheers, but what became a spectacle of laughter was a glaringly opposite fact when Donald Trump muttered at an instant interject saying thus-"Hillary does not have the right attitude to be president. I am a much better candidate with the right type of temperament to make America great again". For some, that was meant to be a huge joke, though not of the 21st century but that which many believed could win an Oscar together with a Grammy at an instant given the confidence and tenacity of the speaker who spoke those words in gloomy colors irrespective of what the implication might do to future campaign opinion polls as the general election gazes in close marking.

Well, as for the NBC host Lester Holt, this was just the beginning of thunder and lightening as he surges up for more eloping questions and answers meant to intensify the already sparkling hot atmosphere which is already beginning to show some draconian signs at the stage arena given the number of times the billionaire cum celebrity politician gulps more water as if he just landed on the Sahara.Well, as for Lester Holt, he happens to be just a fast learner who couldn't afford the mistakes of his predecessor who just some weeks ago  was accused of deft ineptitude unbecoming of a good moderator when he moderated a town hall forum involving just the real estate mogul in attendance.

Fired up by professionalism just needed in the such field arena, the two candidates once again battled Foreign policy, terrorism and other issues in a televised match-up Monday night that seemed to have gone in favor of the democratic presidential candidates who no doubt took the day with her sterling responses to certain foreign policy jabs adequately thrown at her by both Holt and Trump who couldn't  help but admit the obvious. ---"Yes, Hillary has way much experience than i do" a struggling Trump admitted. He however went further "Let me tell you, Hillary has experience. But it's bad, bad experience," said the 70-year-old billionaire, accusing the former secretary of state, first lady and US senator of being a "typical politician. All talk, no action. Sounds good, doesn't work.".

Just a child crying foul just after he realizes the exams had not gone his way as expected, a rising Trump cried out later when the soup had been served already to a large crowd viewers amounting to over 100 million watchers saying thus at an after debate press session.

"I had a problem with a microphone that didn't work. I don't know if you saw that in the room, but my microphone was terrible. I wonder was it set up that way on purpose?" he said.

"When I tested it, it was beautiful, like an hour before I said what a great mic … It was much lower than [Clinton's]. I don't want to believe in conspiracy theories, of course, but it was much lower than hers, and it was crackling, and she didn't have that problem."

Trump just like the man he is has earlier maintained that Clinton had not unnerved him. “No, not at all,” he said on Fox News. “I didn’t see it that way.”

But he allowed that he was irritated “at the end, maybe” when Clinton brought up Trump’s treatment of Alicia Machado, a woman from Venezuela who was crowned the 1996 Miss Universe at age 19.
That moment has emerged as one of the most dramatic exchanges of the night.

“He called this woman ‘Miss Piggy,’ and then he called her ‘Miss Housekeeping,’ because she is Latina,” Clinton said during the debate.

“Where did you find this?” Trump retorted. “Where did you find this?”
“Her name is Alicia Machado,” Clinton continued, “and she has become a U.S. citizen, and you can bet she’s going to vote this November.”
