Nigerian govt releases Npower names
Nigeria- The Nigeria federal government in line with her campaign promises of alleviating the suffering of the people both in rural and urban centers have released what they termed "First Batch" of over 200.000 individuals whom got registered into a volunteer corps federal government acknowledge program called "NPower". The program which is supposed to engage 500.000 Nigerian unemployed youths, is aimed at encouraging the teeming masses in acquiring skills and talents valuable to their area of specialty.
The NPower program by the Nigerian federal government is segmented into the areas of Teaching, Agro production, Health program, ICT and others. Participants will be allocated training resources and aids in enhancing a better participation and discharge of their service which is billed to last for two years.
According to the Nigerian seat of power, the program is geared towards eradicating some of challenges that have diverted the attention of the Nigerian youths into engaging in social vices that yields little or no fortune either to themselves or contribute meaningfully to the economic base of the nation.
The program though a volunteer service, will see participant take home a stipend of N30.000 monthly. This according to the organizer, is a way of providing some platform for a better service and working condition.
NPower is a social investment program aimed at providing the youths a better platform towards understanding their innate talents in the building of themselves and also creating a better nation with the acquire skills.
The government of president Muhammadu Buhari came on board under a change mantra promising a better plan for all and sundry. The government have in recent times been back-lashed for her continual lackadaisical approach in tackling the seemingly economic recession.
