Trump and FBI director Comey

The story so far is yet to begin at the presidential west wing given series of controversies that have prevaricated the Trump administration.  No doubt, the issue are enormous as the American people watched closely with keen interest. The big battle continues irrespective of whose names gets into the troubled sheet at the president's oval office, but yet again, the scandals hover around just one name and that becomes the 44th president of the United States.

FBI Director James Comey testifies on Capitol Hill in WashingtonFrom his uncompromising love for Vladimir Putin down to the sudden dismissal of Michael Flynn, the administration seems struggling with her nationalistic policies barely after an anti-climatic 100 days in office.

Though, the Nov. 8 presidential election may have culminated with the painful loss of Hillary Clinton, the wave and call for more nose to the ground-stone seems unflinching given the supposed role played by the Kremlin alongside FBI director James Comey, who many acclaimed was largely responsible in given voters a vivid distinct but hardliner choice during the general election. While those in Moscow worked tirelessly in influencing the election by carrying out a second to none hacking dexterity, the FBI, through Comey, made sure Americans swivel on their voting decision through his anti-DoJ antics which largely contradicts the ethics of his bureau.

Similarly, while Trump continued to sustain his bromance with the Russian leader, his praise for FBI Comey knew no bounds just weeks to the election, as he openly announced Comey in major campaign rallies for been brave enough in speaking out the illegalities surrounding the democratic presidential candidates. At one time, he called Comey an honest man whose independence and political bravery pass for a Noble prize deserving. In fact, Comey became a necessary evil in deciding the fate of the two candidates whose image needs no introduction.

For Trump, Comey's revelation displaying Clinton's use of private email server while she was Secretary of States was a defining moment of truth in his favour. However, the same cannot be said of Clinton, whose presidential hopes hasn't just be made to hang in the balance, but also, crashing fast at her very before. This, however, became the resultants effects of a Donald Trump presidency which not just shocked many Americans, but also kept the world aghast.

The Trump versus Comey's romance thus became an affair looking rosy even after Jan. 20th. So we all thought. But yet again, it was Trump, and nobody can be too sure.

Just like a  reaction destined to be reversible ab initio, the ball took another direction shortly after a senate committee made Comey appear before her congressional authority. This was in line with series of an investigation made on account of the Russian interference, alongside Comey's last minutes investigative game plan that largely favoured one candidate against the other.

The FBI director who defended his call to reveal the last minutes' findings relating to Mrs Clinton use of private emails, however, agreed wholly that the Russians couldn't be exempted from a possible interference given the circumstances of events. Comey who claimed that it will be out of place to subscribe to the idea of him determining the eventual winner of the election, couldn't but allude to the fact that the investigation of Moscow is of top class priority by the bureau. Comey even seeks for more fund in pursuing the Russian case.

What James Comey didn't know was that his romance with president Trump is about to get murky while he carefully outlined his take on the Russian hacking with congress. The news would come soon, but then, nobody saw it coming.

Mr Comey who was addressing a bureau of employees in Los Angeles when the announcement was made, at first took a joke of the whole situation as background television screens show a news flash. The story soon down on Comey, when at the FBI headquarters, his letter was handed in Washington.

"While I greatly appreciate you for informing me on three separate occasions that I am not under any investigation, I nevertheless concur with the department of justice that you are not able to lead the bureau effectively". The letter read as dated 9th May.

"Comey wasn't doing a good job", Trump continued.

Like seriously, this really doesn't add up. Prior to now, Comey was the best FBI could have produced at a time when the FBI chief released documents few weeks to the election indicting Mrs Clinton.

Comey, however, was'nt doing a good job all of sudden when during his grill session with congress, revealed the supposed connective links between the Trump campaign and Russia. This is laughable.

It is obvious that the celebrity apprentice superstar takes the white as a dramatic stage. Indeed, as events continues to unfold.

Reports also indicates president Trump in asking for Comey's loyalty, in an unsuccessful failed attempt, took the ball to the next level with the culmination of a sack letter. While the screen remain smoked, only James Comey can fully reveal what went down between him and president Trump.

According to a Thursday interview with NBC, president Trump alluded to the fact that the Russian investigation was a motivating factor when he sacked Comey. "There was never going to be a good time", he argued.

First, Trump revealed he ask James Comey if he was under any possible investigation, and the latter replied in the affirmative. Now, Comey is fired.

Did Trump really did that? If yes, then, not even the CIA would have been cleared for such an answer which Comey gave so effortlessly. Secondly, how healthy is it that a US president is found discussing an investigation ongoing with a top government official. A bureau as sacred as the FBI. lastly, was Comey, cleared for such answers?

Firing a man right at the centre of not just been investigated by congress, but also, undergoing a critical investigative process involving a possible Russian interference with an election largely acclaimed as been compromised by external forces,no doubt, cast a shadow of dishonesty in the Trump white house.

Make America great again. The how, why and when. This is surly one system Americans won't forget in a rush.
