Dennis Otuaro calls for unity at the Oporoza annual celebration

Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, was present at the annual cultural celebration of Oporoza community, the traditional headquarters of the ancient Gbaramatu kingdom on January 2nd, 2026. The event which showcases the rich cultural splendour of the Ijaw people had in attendance the Créme de la créme of the society waging styles, grandeur, and opulence of the Ijaw people. 
                                                             




As the headquarters of this esteemed kingdom, Oporoza has become synonymous with cultural richness and historical significance, attracting visitors from near and far to witness it's enduring heritage and vintage. Adorned with explicit images and symbols representing the ancestral bandwidth of Gbaramatu kingdom and the broader Ijaw nation, the kingdom serves as a tapestry of identity, relevance, and reverence for the Ijaw nation.                         

High Chief Dennis Otuaro celebrates the rich culture of the Ijaw people with a gallant display of cultural flexibility and nuance, while forging unity and peace in the Niger Delta as a grassroots man of humble beginning and noble repute. The Administrator sues for a peaceful coexistence among ethnic nationalities while acknowledging the many wins the region has enjoyed in recent time most especially as the renewed hope agenda continues to favour the region. The Administrator vowed to continue to attract meaningful development to the region through his office as he pledged more support for the youth of the region. While calling for calm, the administrator reinterates that every Niger Deltan will enjoy the benefit of his office. 

High Chief Dennis Otuaro at the event displays his love for the Ijaw culture through his regal attire, expressing identity, style, and pristine royalty of the Ijaw people. The event was a hugely successful one with great highlights, sounds, and sight that promotes the beautiful scenery of Oporoza community.
