Golden Eaglets Punished their Australian Counterparts to advance to the quarter finals stage
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria has continued their gallantry in the on going FIFA U-17 world cup tournament in Chile. The defending champions who have been on a brilliant performance since the beginning of the tournament in Chile dealt mercilessly with the Australians in a round of 16 game played yesterday.
With an hat-trick from the ever impressive Victor Osimhen and of course three more brilliant goals from Kelechi Nwakali, Eddilong Micheal Essien and Samuel Chukwueze, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria stylishly bashed their Australian counterparts by six unreplied goals.
"Victor had a great game, although the philosophy is to play collectively," said Nigeria coach Emmanuel Amuneke.

With this win, the Golden Eaglets have picked up their Quarter Final ticket together with Brazil who narrowly edged out New Zealand by a lone goal.
