2baba expresses his disappointment towards friend and former colleagues blackface
Multi- award winning musician and boss of the record label Hypertech records has expressed his absolute displeasure and disappointment towards his friend and former singing mate of the defunct plantashun boys. Innocent idibia who goes by the stage name 2baba noted his shock towards the allegation made by his former colleagues.
"It is just so unfortunate. I do not know where it is coming from (but) I am trying to think of different reasons,” he said.
The singer and song writer in an interview with channels television opined that he originally thought the account of blackface was hacked until he knew it was real coming from a former colleagues and song mate.
On their friendship, he said: “He (Blackface) did not consider me his friend anymore,” noting that he wished him no ill will.
The benue born sensation known for his humility and calmness hinted that he is sure the dispute will be resolved soon while noting his sadness that his former colleagues will be coming out at him in such ill will.
"We will trash the whole matter but I got nothing but love and respect for him and it is just so unfortunate that he is coming
at me like that,” he said.
It will be recalled that blackface who goes by the real name Ahmedu Obiabo had accused the benue born sensation of plagiarism and falsely claiming ownership of some songs he [blackface] had before now written down as his own lyrics.
The latter has even threaten to go to court to seek legal interpretations and counsel as regards this whole imbroglio.
