According to reports, the suicide bombers has hit the north eastern part of Nigeria, Borno, chibok town to be precise on a market day, 10persons have been reported dead.
At least three attackers were involved, some of them female, witnesses said. More than 30 people were injured.
Details are scant and it is not yet known who was behind the attack.
"The casualty toll is not conclusive but so far at least 10 people have been confirmed dead and over 30 injured," Ayuba Chibok told the AFP news agency.
But suspicion is likely to fall on militants from the Boko Haram Islamist group, who abducted more than 200 schoolgirls from Chibok in 2014.
One of the attackers struck at a security checkpoint, while another managed to reach the busy market. A third was identified by residents before detonating explosives close to the market, the reports said.
"People I spoke to are in shock, some of them are still crying," a former town resident Malam Ayouba told the BBC Hausa service.
The chibok community has been the worst losers since the  militants extremism started in full scale. The misery of the missing schoolgirls is yet to leave the mind and hearts of those whose loved ones were the victims of this unfortunate incident.
Though, the campaign for the return of the girls is still on by concern citizens, the emotions and trauma can never be quantified until the safe arrival of this girls who are still in the hands of the deadly boko haram  sect for over a year and some months now.
