Ali-Modu Sheriff is intrinsically linked with boko haram - FFK

Outspoken member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former minister for aviation who handled the former president Goodluck Jonathan campaign as spokesperson Mr Fani Kayode has lashed out on the newly appointed chairman of the PDP Sen. Ali-Modu Sheriff.

FFK as he is fondly called didn't mix his words when he referred to the newly appointed chairman as " intrinsically linked with boko haram". The former minister opined that such person with a questionable character shouldn't be allow to head aserious party.

FFK who was a guest at a program on channels television "sunday politics today" attacked the newly appointed chairman as bad a example who shouldn't be given the green light to operate on any serious platform most especially as a face or figure head.

"In terms of his person he is intrinsically linked with boko haram. At the inception, he was one of those who created the boko haram and terrorised our nation"

FFK continued thus " A man so badly stained, has no antecedents cannot be a leader of a serious political party"

Fani-kayode who hinted his resolve about his comments stated again " This is somebody I have known for many years since we were both in NRC in the early 90s"

"I must tell you that if he wants to convince the world that he has nothing to do with boko haram, let him explain his relationship with Muhammed yusuf, the man who started boko haram and was murdered in a mysterious circumstance by the police"

"Let him tell us who he was using as local thugs whilst he was two-time governor of Borno state. Let him tell us that  it was not Muhammed Yusuf that was leading the thugs and that he was not funding them"

FFK the voiceferous individual whose words knows no bound continued again in a more detail analysis as to sheriff's been a bad choice.

"Let him tell us who asked yar'adua to send the soldiers and  kill as many people as possible of the boko haram group simply because he was tired of them and was fed up given them money" he added

FFK who advice the boko haram linked Ali-Modu Sheriff to as a matter of urgency takes the fine option of stepping down instead of this charade position which he his so appointed in error.

Explaining the circumstances surrounding his appointment, FFK continued thus " A group of people came together and decided that he should be the one to complete the tenure of the former PDP chairman. It is fair enough, but they have to consider the people and stakeholders before coming at this conclusion".

Mr Fani kayode also hinted that his appointment as chairman violated the party's law which states that any individual who should occupy such position must have been a member of the party for over two years.
