Gianni Infantino of FIFA arrives Nigeria

President of the Federation of International Football Association FIFA has officially arrived in Nigeria. Infantino who was received by the Nigeria Football Federation NFF president, Amaju Pinnick alongside other sport personalities, touched the international airport Abuja Sunday evening.

FIFA President, Gianni InfantinoGianni Infantino arrived Nigeria alongside her contemporary Ms. Samba Fatma Samoura  who happens to be the first female secretary general of FIFA. Infantino is on a two day working visit which officially ends Monday after paying a courtesy call to the president of the country led by the sport minister Solomon Dalung.

The visit is in line with FIFA commitment to promote sport development in Africa as well as encourage corporate support for football in Nigeria. The visit is expected to play host to about 20 president of footballing federations in Africa as they meet with infantino alongside Ms. Samoura in discussing the way forward for sports in Africa.

Manchester still in pains

The city of Manchester still continues to count their loss as they search for unending answers why they have been made victims of such dastardly act. The Manchester arena couldn't be more sorrowful after the attack as sympathisers alongside friends and families of bereaved troop in to count their loss in honour of those who died.
