Pastor arrested over abuse

Security operatives in Ogun state south western Nigeria, has nabbed one Francis Taiwo over his abusive engagement towards his child. Francis who is an ordained pastor in one of the celestial churches within the state, was said to have chained his nine year old son to the neck for over two weeks with the sole aim of cleansing his spirit.

The pastor who is now at the custody of the security agency in the state revealed that after due consultations with several spiritualist, he was however advised to do the needful so as to rid the "stealing spirit" away from his soul. This he however carried out immediately on his son who was accused by his step-mother of domestic stealing.

Mr. Francis aged 40 who hails from Benin Republic was ordained in 2012, became a pastor at the celestial church at Ajibawo, in otta local government area in Ogun State, a church which he now commits this atrocious act. He was however apprehended Sunday July, 24, 2016 barely 24 hours after the rescue of his son.

 According to the police public relations officer of the state, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspect will be arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction once all investigation are completed in compliance with the laws of the land. Koredo Francis who is the chained victim, has since been taken into protective custody by the police. He dreams of becoming a medical doctor now seems bleak after undergoing such a monstrous journey from own father.

Manchester still in pains

The city of Manchester still continues to count their loss as they search for unending answers why they have been made victims of such dastardly act. The Manchester arena couldn't be more sorrowful after the attack as sympathisers alongside friends and families of bereaved troop in to count their loss in honour of those who died.
