English FA eyes Wenger for job

Following the ouster of recently appointed England manager, the English FA has once again entered the open market in search for a new manager for the English National team. The English FA who had also been rumored to have marked certain notables for the top job as new England boss is also said to be giving serious thought in the consideration of current Arsenal boss for the role as new English Manager.   

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger Among earmarked candidates includes Garry Southgate while Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew and ex-Hull City manager Steve Bruce have also been mentioned as candidates. Wenger who also doubles as the most successful overseas manager celebrates his 20th anniversary come October 1st.

Haven won 15 trophies during his tenure at Arsenal.


His tally includes winning the Premier League three times and the FA Cup on six occasions.

Allardyce had replaced Roy Hodgson following a disastrous Euro 2016 but left by mutual agreement on Tuesday after the Daily Telegraph claimed he offered advice on how to "get around" rules on player transfers.
Allardyce won his only game in charge of the national team in September - a 1-0 win over Slovakia in the first of their 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Allardyce lasted 67 days on the Job as manager for the English side.
