Super eagles defeats Zambia

The super eagles of Nigeria Sunday defeated the chipolopolo of Zambia in a crucial world cup qualifying match. The which was played at the levy Nwanawasa stadium, Ndola Zambia, saw the eagles clamping down on their host with Alex Iwobi netting the first ball into the back of the net of the Zambians after 33minutes of showdown and ball hustling.

The match which didn't lack the needed bite from the two teams went on shortly after the young Arsenal star slotted home an opener as he breaks the much anticipated ice. A rampaging eagles who now continued to show more confidence with the ball got a second through Manchester City duel of Kelechi Ihanancho whose 43th minutes goal saw the Gonetr Rohr's side sealing the first half with an amazing results in complete shock to their host.

Similarly, the second half soon resumed with so much expectation from the two teams most especially the visitors whose supporters clamoured for more goals. Well, the game soon became balanced as both teams slowed their pace in a quick bid to reinventing their rythm right. Well, that eventually paid off at the 70th minutes when the host got their first goal leaving Carl Ikeme no better option than wished it
never happened after making several saves which could have levelled the scoreline prior to now.

2-1 it eventually ended as a 70th minutes goal from Zambians C.Mbesuma couldn't provide the much needed share points at the Levey Nwanawasa arena on a humid Sunday.
