Dortmund twelve goal thriller match

In what so many felt could have been a walk in the pack for the Germans, it turned out to be an absolutely endeared goal thriller fiesta as both teams took to the back of the nets of their opponents goal area in defiance to respect of their various keepers. There were seven goals in 22 first-half minutes, and Marco Reus scored twice on his return from six months out of action.

The 12 goals scored at the Westfalenstadion on Tuesday champions league match between Borussia Dortmund and Legia Warsaw surpassed Monaco's 8-3 win over Deportivo La Coruna in 2003.

Also, in Wednesday Champion League game, Arsenal threw away their chances of staying comfortably at the top of Group A with a 2-2 draw against PSG. Barcelona threw their La Liga run behind them as they stylishly edged out Celtic by 2goal with wonder boy Messi on score sheet.

Meanwhile, another English team Manchester City did well to pull out a draw from their game with German Mochenglabach securing a qualification to the next round of the tournament .

  • It is the first time in Champions League history that eight players scored in a single match.

The city of Manchester still continues to count their loss as they search for unending answers why they have been made victims of such dastardly act. The Manchester arena couldn't be more sorrowful after the attack as sympathisers alongside friends and families of bereaved troop in to count their loss in honour of those who died.
