Putin caught red handed in US hacking

President elect Donald J. Trump has continued his tirade in shelving the idea of a Russian intervention during the American electioneering process that brought him as winner of the Nov.8 election. Trump who had consistently disputed the hard fact of a Russian influence on his candidacy called for a more accurate findings by the intelligence agencies who now stand in contrast with his views.

In a full detailed report presented to Mr. Trump and read by the intelligence agencies during a meeting Friday at the Trump tower right there in Manhattan New York, the president elect downplays the direct meddling of the Kremlin in helping him win the election over opposition rival Hillary Clinton. According to the briefing at the Trump tower,  Russia collected data “on some Republican-affiliated targets,” but did not disclose the contents of whatever it harvested.

The cyberattacks which was calculated by the Kremlin in discrediting Mrs. Clinton made sure Trump remains their rightful candidate during the process. According to a full detailed analysis, the Russian leader Vladimir Putin had a red hand in the US election hacking saga.

The intelligence agencies also concluded “with high confidence” that Russia’s main military intelligence unit, the G.R.U., created a “persona” called Guccifer 2.0 and a website, DCLeaks.com, to release the emails of the Democratic National Committee and of the chairman of the Clinton campaign, John D. Podesta.
When those disclosures received what was seen as insufficient attention, the report said, the G.R.U. “relayed material it acquired from the D.N.C. and senior Democratic officials to WikiLeaks.” The founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, has denied that Russia was the source of the emails it published.

“The British picked it up, and we may have had it at about the same time,” said one cyberexpert who has been briefed on the findings. British intelligence — especially the signals intelligence unit, GCHQ — takes a major role in tracking Russian activity.

Trump whose assessment of all this detailed reports indicates some levels of doubt, had continued to shields Vladimir Putin's intervention not to talk about the possibility that he considers Russia a culprit in all of this process. Prior to the intelligence meeting, Trump had in series of tweets supported the stance of Wikileaks director who said, Russia couldn't have been involved in this hacking issues. According to Assange, such acts could have been performed by any 14year old.

The 25-page report did not conclude that Russian involvement tipped the election to Mr. Trump.
But the public report lacked the evidence that intelligence officials said was included in a classified version, which they described as information on the sources and methods used to collect the information about Mr. Putin and his associates. Those would include intercepts of conversations and the harvesting of computer data from “implants” that the United States and its allies have put in Russian computer networks.

The intelligence agencies which comprises the FBI, CIA, National Security Agency released the declassified, damning report which directly states the obvious about the authenticity or the grand legitimacy of a man who is about to become the 45th president of the United States, and who may as well led all this security agencies in the next 15days from now.

Similarly, hours after the meeting, president elect in a call conversation with the New York Timers has argued not only the veracity of this report, but also the honesty as the case may be. Russian hacking was nothing more than a “political witch hunt” carried out by his adversaries, who he said were embarrassed by their loss to him in the 2016 election. Speaking by telephone three hours before the intelligence briefing, Mr. Trump repeatedly criticized the intense focus on Russia.

“China, relatively recently, hacked 20 million government names,” he said, referring to the breach of computers at the Office of Personnel Management in late 2014 and early 2015. “How come nobody even talks about that? This is a political witch hunt.” he added.
