What next for the rescued Chibok Schoolgirls

Two years ago, it all started like a movie as the news of their abduction filtered round not only the nook and crannies of the local scene but also capturing the eyes of the international community crisps-crossing the thin  racial fine line between gender equality and global rights balancing. There was no doubt agreeing with the fundamentals as to the existence of terrorism which is indeed fast becoming a Global phenomenon, but then, there was every doubt agreeing to an absolutely painful fact that over 200 schoolgirls were whisked away from their respective dormitories unnoticed to the various security structures in place at a time when the issue of security became an item of National relevance going by the fast spate of insurgency been orchestrated by some radical Islamic terror group (Boko Haram). The news not only became an issue requiring topmost priority from the Nigerian Government but it also became a story juicy enough for the international community in pegging

The sins of the past administration

Researches have shown that most persons are quick to infer a conclusion more with a deductive mindset to an inductive application. A further survey also indicates that three out of every five persons would rather prefer a report based on sentiments to that which is of commonsense and logic. From the above, one cannot but pitch certain Nigerians in either of those categories going by the inherent trend which we so find ourselves both as a nation and also as an entity. From the analysis so far by many Nigerians, it is a total clarity that many are no doubt absolutely oblivious of certain fact and figures but will rather base their argument either on a myopic strata or on a template based on some ethno political scale. To some, it's just about making their voices heard, to others, it's means been in line with majority while to some more, it's about gaining cheap publicity as very few takes it as an analytical platform where brainstorming, wisdom, calculation and logic are r

Is Nigeria really Fantastically corrupt?

Nigeria! A country been labelled as not only the Giant of Africa but also the most populous black nation as far as the African continent is concerned. With a population of over 160 million persons, Nigeria is ranked first when it comes to the production of crude oil in Africa and also one among the top five in the world as far as oil production is concerned. Though, a nation believed to carry the blazing troy of ascendancy among its African brothers, Nigeria as it were have barely lived up to expectations as many may argue going by the enormous resources it has at her disposal.  This is clearly evidence by the living standards of her citizens where only those behind the sweet corridors of power enjoys a sumptuous meal to the detriment of the majority who be all standards remains the goose that lays the golden eggs both intrinsically and otherwise as the case maybe yet get so little.  Though, not too many may understand the pains and fears of so many Nigerians who by virtues of these

Some sound notes for Gov. Fayose

The Governor of Ekiti state Ayodele  Fayose no doubt has got a flair for media publicity only that he chose the wrong platform to exhibit this kind of inbuilt talents. One thing is sure- Mr Fayose would have soar a little much more better if he had picked  "acting or better still stage performance" as career rather than indulge in politics as it were. Trust me, no one would have made it so better in this present day Nollywood than Gov. Ayodele Fayose. Firstly, he will not only bring back the glory days of the tabloids , he sure will garner much more media hype and celeb paparazzi than one could ever imagine as not even the best Hollywood stars can compete favorably. Think of it - Is it granting ceaseless interviews, red carpets moments, scandals, getting juicy stories - common, he sure will strive much more better that not even DENRELE EDUN could match him in any kind of publicity stunts. Seriously, truth be told, Mr Fayose chose the wrong career as the obvious are just to

Trump, Sanders wins Indiana as Cruz bows out

As Americans gradually decides who becomes the next occupier of the capitol hill buildings, the tension seems to be getting towards the knife edge by the day as every seconds counts for both the republicans and democrats. No doubt, all candidates pride themselves as the beautiful bride but the decision on who becomes the next president of the "free world" lies solely on the ballot cast by the American people. From black Americans to Latinos down to the whites blood cells, all have a role to play in the selection process of who eventually gets the nod to becoming the next person who gives directives right away from the white house. For the Republicans, it started from his sweet victory in New York where  he defeated both Ted Cruz and John Kasich in what seems to be a very easy ride for the Billionaire cum politician. Though Sen. Ted Cruz didn't threw in the towel at that defeat in the empire state, but he remained focus preaching most fervently to his supp

The Pain behind the Fame

Lately, the music world was agog with yet another master class gossip which later became juicy for various online publications and In fact a starting point for bloggers as they scrapped for more details and details going by the names  so involved in this perceived public implosion.  The entertainment world got rocked as music super star and Queen of Marvin -Tiwa Savage got trapped in a sudden matrimonial cascade involving spouse Tunji Balogun alias TeeBillz. The duo who got married some two years ago in a very resplendent wedding ceremony far away Dubai suddenly became the center of attention as their matrimonial roses fell apart both internally and externally thus giving rise to ceaseless public analysis and attractions. For a moments, every body became an expert in matrimonial courses, as both young and old deliberated on the issue conspicuously. Some even became instant juries while some others turned into an overnight analyst writing open letters on the issues as t

The Leicester Glory and the Lesson Note For Super Eagles

Impossibility some say is a magical word reserved only for super humans,to some others, its a word never to be used by mere mortals while to some more, its a word that exist only in the delusive world of the human mind. Well, be that as it may, such concepts may seems to be falling apart with the growing trends of certain mere mortals who now wear the garb of super humans, believe so passionately in this delusive mind of theirs and in fact extend their passion into this illusive world to secure the word impossibility.      One cannot but admire the victorious Leicester city as they stunned the world not only by winning the prestigious English League Title (EPL) but also with the kind of bravery and determination in which they used in achieving such feat. Behold! this was a team that battled with relegation two seasons ago, eventually got relegated as they where sent packing by the so called big names to ply their trade in the championship division. This was the case of an unkn
