Breaking News: Dilma Rousseff, a former leftist guerrilla who defied a dictatorship but struggled as Brazil’s president amid a troubled economy and a fractious political climate, was removed from office Wednesday following an impeachment trial she condemned as a coup d’état. Rousseff who was accused of illegally using state funds to patch loopholes in the nation's budget has been on suspension since May before an eventual trial which started Monday at the senate floor. Rouseseff denies all allegations of wrong doing.
